Because looking good shouldn't make you uncomfortable
Simply Collars was born from a school shirt mishap—and a lightbulb moment. When my daughter came home one day wearing the chopped-up remains of her school blouse (just the collar, with sleeves and hem hacked off), I realised she was onto something. She wanted the look of a shirt without the discomfort and bulk.
After struggling to find a decent ‘fake collar’ on the market, I decided to curate my own range. I’d always avoided wearing shirts myself—too tight, too hot, too uncomfortable—so the idea of a lightweight collar I could wear with a jumper, knit or dress really appealed.
